Outreach
Individuals and groups within the church support the following programs in a variety of ways.Feeding America - Provides food staples to the communities of Descanso and Guatay. Normal schedule is alternating Thursdays: One Thursdays at 10:00 am at the Descanso Town Hall amd alternate Thursdays downtown Guatay at 11:30 am.
Senior Luncheon - Provides low cost lunches to seniors in the area. Located here at the church every Wednesday at 12:00 noon.
AA - Alcoholics Anonymous meets here at the church on Friday Evenings.
Salvation Army - The Salvation Army provides a great many resources to the people of the Mountain Empire.
CERT - The Community Emergency Response Team is a group of volunteers who are especially trained to help emergency professionals in the event of an emergency.
Descanso Town Hall Association, Descanso Community Planning Board, etc - Members of our church are vital parts of these and other groups who oversee and care about our community and its future.
